Monday Morning Portrait Time
The latest! Colored in GIMP, and while I do advocate it as an easy alternative to PhotoShop, I'm noticing the colors are slightly off when posting images and viewing them on other devices. Too yellow. I'm not sure where the problem lies, but will investigate.

Wee Cosmonaut
And hey, you're the first to see it! Sometimes you just want to draw a guy in a space suit strolling over a fantasy landscape. He seems to be enjoying himself. Updated: I think this is basically done. I could labor over it longer, but it seems best to step away.

Banner!
Taking a moment to consider this site's banner (which has been in place since roughly 2008!). I was thinking of giving it a refresh, but y'know, I'm still quite fond of it. Click on the thumbnail for the full view, and full effect. Trivia: that face is a partial portrait of William Holden.
David Xavier Harrigan
A quick portrait of the late performer/artist David Xavier Harrigan, better known to music fans as Tomata du Plenty (of Los Angeles' synthesizer quartet, the Screamers). Ironically, people are probably more familiar with Gary Panter's 1977 portrait of Tomata than they are with his music.
